SuperHero Service Rides!...
Doing the Most Good
While Having the Most Fun!!! The First Superhero ride was a great success; litter abatement at Peri Park in the creek, as well as a ride out to San Geronimo for invasive plant removal with SPAWN. The tradition continued this last January 30th, 2010 with the removal of bags-and-bags of vintage litter on the South-facing hillside behind Good Earth Natural Foods in Fairfax. This was followed by a ride out to Larkspur to meet Rock The Bike and help schlep their equipment back here to The Bicycle Works for some bike-powered music from Justin Ancheta, Heather Normandale of Stitchcraft; and of course, Fossil Fool the Bike Rapper! We all had a great time and look forward to many more rides and events in Service to our wonderful community! Click here to see photos from Superhero Service Rides!
